Hundreds of people showed up at a ski resort in the Austrian town of Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser on Monday to ski and sled, despite ongoing COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings in the country. Families with children were seen sledding down mountain slopes or taking walks over the snow. Several skiers were seen wearing masks and respecting physical distancing. There have been at least 352,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Austria since the outbreak began, resulting 5,881 deaths relating to the virus nationwide.
